Get The Thumb Going

This tutorial is about improvising using a very restricted set of ingredients based around an open E major chord.

The left hand doesn't do too much so the right hand has to to create the feel of a rhythm and added melody.

The right hand thumb technique is fairly basic but is crucial to the overall sound so it is worth spending a fair bit of time trying to get the thumb to keep going.
